A verseny összdíjazása 6000 euró. Az 1. helyezett 3000, a 2. helyezett 2000, a harmadik helyezett 1000 euró díjazásban részesül. A három díjazott mű a Beethoven Budán Fesztivál 2018. május 2-i hangversenyén bemutatásra kerül.

A pályaművek a megadott határidőig zárt, jeligével ellátott borítékban a Budavári Önkormányzat Ügyfélszolgálati Irodájában (1014 Budapest, Kapisztrán tér 1.) is leadhatók, illetve postán is beküldhetők a Budavári Önkormányzat postacímére (1250 Budapest, Pf. 35.).

április 2-ig a szervezők rendelkezésére bocsájtják.
